Acupuncture is being discussed frequently now. Would you please tell us for which type of illness and problems an acupuncture treatment is most effective? Do you give additional medication and/or alternative remedies in conjunction with such treatment?
~ Donna
Donna: I use acupuncture mostly for musculo-skeletal problems. 90% of my cases involve arthritis, neuro-muscular problems and muscle strains. I have not used much in the way of homeopathics in addition to the acupuncture. I do combine Western medications with the acupuncture. Sometimes I will do some chiropractic adjustments to help prolong the acupuncture effects and make the dog feel better.
