Questions About Shihtsu Bathing & Training
I bathe my shihtsu 2x a week, but I wanted to bathe everyday, because she smells! Also, what tricks can I teach her? She's 4 months old. Thanks!
I would not recommend bathing your pooch every day. It will dry out the skin and coat. I would look into a better shampoo that will help with the smell, like a oatmeal shampoo. There may be something wrong with your pooch if he smells that bad. It could be a food allergy that is causing this. I would recommend that you take your pooch to the vet for a check up to see if this is food related or an ear infection or skin problem.
