Removal of Wood Tick from Dog
I have a 3 month old Lhasa Apso. He had a wood tick on his tummy. I did not get the head out of it. What should I do?
I would try to squeeze the tick head out. If you can not then I would go to the vet for assistance. It can become infected and cause other problems. Keep a very close eye on the area where you removed the tick. I would also spray the yard if that is where your pooch got this tick. I feel that this is going to be a real bad year for fleas and ticks.
