Vaccination/tests When to have it Reason to have it

Adenovirus

6-8
weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks and then annually

There are two types of adenovirus, one attacks the liver, the other
attacks the respiratory system, which may lead to kennel cough

Distemper-Hepatitis

6-8
weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks and then annually

Fatal. One strain is similar to measles, the other can cause hepatitis

Lyme
Disease

10-12 weeks, then annually

Caused by tick bite, can also be harmful to humans

Parainfluenza

6-8
weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks and then annually

Kennel Cough. Caused by airborne bacteria. vaccination must be used in
combo with Bordetella

Parvovirus

6-8
weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks and then annually

Attacks the digestive system. May be fatal to puppies.

Rabies

10-12 weeks, then every 3 years

Required by law. Protects against viral infection that attacks the brain
and nervous system. Usually fatal. Can be fatal to humans.

Bordetella

6-8
weeks, 10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks and then annually
Can
contribute to kennel cough. A must for dogs in constant contact with other
dogs.

Coronavirus

6-8
weeks, 10-12 weeks, 12-14 weeks and then annually

Contagious viral infection, that causes diarrhea and vomiting

Leptospirosis

10-12 weeks, 14-16 weeks, and then annually

A
rare infection transmitted via urine. Can cause kidney disease. Usually
fatal, Semi annual shots may be required in high incidence areas.

Fecal/Deworm

3
weeks, 6 weeks, 9 weeks, annually
Hook
worms and tapeworms can both be fatal to your dog if left untreated

Heartworm

By
16 weeks, No blood tests nec. if started by 5 months old.

Check with your local vet regarding the frequency of these tests.
