Pick a dog kennel
Pick a dog kennel
Boarding kennels come in all sizes and management practices. Your biggest challenge is finding the facility that fits your needs at the price you want to pay.
The following is a list of questions and observations that you need to make:
- How much are you willing to pay per day?
- What are your minimum requirements that you expect for your dog?
- What do others think about the facility and care their dog received?
- How long are you going to have to board?
-
- a weekend?
- a week?
- a month?
Visit the places that fit the needs you have set up.
Look at the following:
1) Is it clean?
2) Does there seem to be professional staffing in the facility?
3) Will they allow you to see "all" of the facility?
4) Is there an exercise area? Is there a grooming and bathing area?
5) Is there good ventilation in the facility?
Try the facility that you choose for a weekend and see if you are satisfied with the service.
