My toy Pomeranian dog loves to eat cat food. Is this common?
Yes it very common for dogs to eat cat food because it is very tasty because it has very high protein. Cats are true carnivores and need high protein, that is why so many dogs eat cat feces. You have to watch out for excessive weight gain and you have to watch out because most dogs will not want to go back to their plain old dog food after tasting cat food. In our household we have to put the cats’ food on the counter top so our dog does not eat it.
