What's the Best Dog Food?
As a first time pet owner, what do you feel are the best dog foods?
The best foods on the market are the super premium lines that are found in pet stores. Some of them are Avo - Derm made by Breeders Choice, including Pinnacle. Nature's California Natural, Nutro's Lamb and Rice. Others are Solid Gold, Wysong, Royal Canin and Innova.
On your other question stay away from milk, it causes acute diarrhea because it contains lactose. There are milk substitutes for pups but I do not recommend them for weaned pups.
