Take care of teeth

From the time your dog has acquired its adult teeth, they undergo changes.
Without proper care by you and your veterinarian, the teeth can become damaged, infected, and lost.
It is recommended that you start brushing your dog's teeth while still a puppy.
Having a tooth brush in the mouth can be frightening for an adult dog.
Take 2 minutes and attempt this procedure daily.
Use an enzymatic dog toothpaste or spray that you can get from your veterinarian or local pet supply store.
DO NOT use human toothpaste.
Have the teeth checked whenever the dog is examined by your veterinarian.
Check the teeth at home for tartar buildup on all teeth -- including the back teeth.
