How do I know my puppy is healthy?
A healthy puppy will be active, happy and alert. Her eyes will be shiny and her nose damp. Make sure her eyes and nose aren’t running though - this could mean that she’s ill. Remember, all puppies need to be treated for worms and need to be vaccinated against rabies, parovirus and distemper. Make sure that your puppy gets all the veterinary treatment she needs.
It’s best to select one that’s right for the kind of home you live in. A big dog will need a good-sized garden and will need to be exercised regularly, while a smaller dog would be a better choice if you have a small garden. Dogs are usually not suitable pets for people who live in apartments, as they need a garden to exercise and play in.
