DISORIENTATION

  • Confusion, aimlessness
  • Inability to recognize normal routines or surroundings

INTERACTION CHANGES

  • No longer greets family members, welcomes petting or asks for attention

SLEEP OR ACTIVITY CHANGES

  • Sleeps more during the day or less at night
  • Wanders or paces

HOUSE-TRAINING IS FORGOTTEN

  • Doesn't "ask" to go outside; frequent "accidents"; loss of bladder or bowel control

Your veterinarian will want to rule out other disease processes that may cause similar signs, including arthritis and dental disease. Ask your veterinarian if B/D is right for your pet.
