News: 8/5/09 Summer is here! And while the warm weather is welcomed some things about it aren't. External parasites are a major concern as the weather warms. We recommend monthly flea and tick medication to help prevent your canine and feline friends from getting an infestation of fleas and ticks. The goal of medicating our pet for fleas and ticks is to keep them comfortable during the summer months, prevent them from catching diseases from the parasites and keeping the parasites out of your home. Fleas, for example, shed hundreds of eggs that could invade your home, making them more difficult to eradicate.

Heartworms step back into the picture as a concern during this time of the year. While we highly recommend heartworm prevention year round the threat of these sometimes fatal parasites heighten as warmer weather rolls in. Heartworms are transmitted through mosquitoes that bite from animal spreading the disease. While treatment for this disease is expensive, prevention is reasonably inexpensive and worth the effort. General Surgery
Many surgical procedures are performed including spays, neuters, cosmetic procedures, tumor removal or debulking surgery, lump removals and other soft tissue procedures.

Orthopedic Surgery
Some orthopedic procedures are performed in house. Others, depending on the complexity, may be referred to a specialist

Radiographs
Xrays are taken with our state of the art Xray system, films are produced and we can read them and discuss them with you in minutes.

EKG's/Echocardiograms
Our Doctors currently treat several hundred dogs and cats with heart conditions of varying kinds. A cardiologist is consulted on almost all heart disease workups. We are able provide our heart patients with excellent quality of life for an extended period of time.

Ultrasound/Telemedicine
We have upgraded our ultrasound capabilities in the past year. We are now able to better visualize abdominal and chest problems than ever before. We are extremely excited to now be able to provide ultrasounds of the heart, or echocardiograms, to our patients.

Dental Care
Dental care is the cornerstone of a preventive health maintenance program and is an extremely important part of our practice. We perform most major dental procedures in house.

On-site Laboratory
We are able to perform routine chemistries, CBC's, and urinalyses within just a few minutes, allowing us to treat your pet in a more timely manner.

Pharmacy
Our pharmacy has over 300 animal related medications in stock for you convenience at all times.

Preventive Health Care
Our practice centers around preventing a problem before it occurs, keeping your pet healthier and living longer!!

Vaccinations
Our vaccination protocol is modified to fit each animal's unique requirements. Their environment, history and risk of exposure are all taken into consideration and at that point a vaccination protocol will be formulated.

Reproduction Counseling
We are able to provide artificial insemination, semen evaluation and staging of the heat cycle as part of our effort to provide healthy litters. We can also counsel on how to properly pick a bitch or stud and what qualities to look for.

Nutritional Counseling
Good nutrition is the foundation of all health. We believe that good quality nutrition will give you the healthiest pet with the longest lifespan. Our staff is capable of providing you with information on diets that are appropriate for your pet.

Behavioral Counseling
Our staff is trained to help with all those pesky puppy and kitten issues that are so common, such as housebreaking, introducing a new pet into the house, or teaching them not to dig. Give us a call!

Cancer Treatment
All Creatures utilizes a tailor made treatment process for your pet with cancer. Each case is different and worked up accordingly. We are capable of performing tumor surgery and removal as well as pathology services. Chemo treatments are used quite often to treat many cancer cases.

House Calls
For some animals, it is less stressful if we come to them. House calls are a way for us to make sure that we keep an animal from becoming too upset.

Pathology Services
We use many different labs around the country for sample testing and evaluation. These labs give us the answers we need to treat your pet properly.

Boarding
Boarding services are available. Make sure to schedule early around the holidays and the school vacations!!
